EXTENSIVE CONCRETE PROJECT IN THE FRONT OF CHURCH BEGINS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4 AT HOLY INFANT
Dear Parishioners,
We have an important announcement to share with all of you regarding a significant capital improvement project that is set to begin this coming Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
Over the years, we have faced challenges with the deterioration of the concrete in various parts of our campus, specifically, the front steps of the church and the sidewalks leading to our church. This has been a concern for both the safety and aesthetics of our place of worship. I meet monthly with the dedicated members of our Holy Infant Maintenance Committee, and we have acknowledged the necessity of addressing this issue.
However, there is some good news amidst this situation. This project is completely paid for thanks to the unwavering generosity of so many of you who regularly contribute to the Building and Maintenance Repair Fund though your monthly envelopes or through your electronic giving via Faith Direct. Also, our Holy Infant Knights of Columbus generously contributed $20,000.00 to help support this extensive project.
We understand that this undertaking is a significant one and may cause you some inconvenience and we ask for your patience and understanding during the construction process. We aim to ensure easy access to our church, particularly for individuals with disabilities. Weather permitting, the projected timeline to complete this entire project is three weeks. We are committed to minimizing disruptions to our regular services and activities as much as possible. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety, longevity, and beauty of our campus.
We will keep you updated throughout the project; and if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at the rectory.
We are blessed beyond measure to have so many dedicated parishioners and organizations who faithfully support our efforts to build up the kingdom of God here in Ballwin.
Thank you, in advance, for your patience and understanding.
Blessings to you and your family!
