Prevent and Protect
Coaches, assistant coaches and parent-helpers need to attend this program. The national sexual-abuse prevention program “Protecting God’s Children” was adopted by the Archdiocese of St. Louis in November 2002. Prevent and Protect was introduced in 2019. All archdiocesan employees and volunteers who work with children on a regular basis are mandated to complete the program.

This program provides practical, everyday assistance with understanding the physical and mental development age of your team and providing a positive learning environment for all involved. The program provides pre- and post- season checklists and other essential information to get your volunteer coaching effort off on the right start.
